Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Ask Thane, you agree to these Terms. If you use Ask Thane on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Service Description

Ask Thane is a conversational task tracking service that integrates with communication tools such as Slack and uses third-party model providers to process prompts and generate outputs.

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, or use Ask Thane for unlawful purposes. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

5. AI Output and Third-Party Providers

Outputs may be incorrect or incomplete and should be reviewed by humans before operational or legal reliance. Ask Thane depends on third-party providers (including model and platform providers), and availability or behavior may change outside our control.

6. Fees and Billing

Paid plans and usage-based charges may apply. You authorize charges for subscription fees and metered usage according to your selected plan and your active configuration.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for security, abuse, non-payment, legal risk, or material Terms violations. You may stop using the service at any time.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Thane and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ask Thane and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
